How much does a private speedboat cost in Koh Samui?
From 34,000 THB per boat for a full day around Koh Samui or to Koh Phangan, 35,000 THB for Ang Thong National Marine Park, and 45,000 THB for Koh Tao and Koh Nang Yuan. These prices are for our two-engine speedboats; larger three-engine speedboats for bigger groups are priced on request.
Where do the speedboats leave from?
All private speedboat charters depart from Bophut, and return transfers from your accommodation are included.
How many people can a speedboat take?
For two-engine speedboats we recommend a maximum of 12–14 guests, and for three-engine speedboats up to 40 guests. Tell us your group size and we’ll match you with the right boat.
Are national park fees included?
No. The Ang Thong National Marine Park fee is 300 THB per person and the Koh Nang Yuan entrance fee is also paid on the day.
What happens if the weather is bad?
If sea conditions aren't safe, we'll reschedule your trip to another day or give you a refund, whichever you prefer.
When is the best time for a speedboat trip?
Seas around Koh Samui are usually calmest from February to September. October to December is the rainy season, when some trips are rescheduled. See our Koh Samui weather guide.
