About Experience

Step aboard a traditional Thai fishing boat with your own private crew and spend the day on the water around Koh Samui, heading to productive fishing grounds based on the day's conditions, with an experienced local captain choosing the spots.

Fish for snapper, grouper, trevally, barracuda, cobia and gar using traditional rod fishing techniques your guide will walk you through. Between spots, there's no agenda, cruise, swim, take in the ocean views, or simply switch off. The pace is entirely yours.

Once you've made your catch, lunch is a Thai-style barbecue on the water, cooking and eating your own freshly caught fish, straight from the sea. It's the kind of meal that's hard to replicate anywhere else.

Fish for a variety of tropical species commonly found in the area, including snapper, cobia, trevally, gar, grouper, barracuda and queen fish. Between fishing spots, enjoy time to relax on the boat, take in the ocean views and soak up the laid-back island atmosphere.

Once you’ve made your catch, it’s time for lunch. Enjoy a Thai-style barbecue, with the option to cook and eat your own freshly caught fish, creating a true sea-to-table experience on the water.

Types of fish in the area include: Snapper, Cobia, Trevally, Gar, Grouper, Barracuda and Queen Fish.

Feel free to bring your own drinks with no additional cost for a fun day out on the ocean.

No experience is required. This private charter is suitable for both beginners and experienced anglers. Your local guide will show you traditional techniques and adjust the day to suit your skill level.

Is lunch included?

Yes. Night fishing offers a different atmosphere and target species, and your guide will provide full instruction throughout the experience.

Can we bring our own drinks?
Yes. You are welcome to bring your own drinks onboard at no additional cost.
