Ziplining in Koh Samui involves gliding along steel cables suspended high above the rainforest, connecting a series of elevated platforms. You'll experience jungle, mountain and canopy views while safely harnessed and guided by trained professionals.
Where is the zip line?
The Tree Bridge zip line course is set in the rainforest near Tan Rua Waterfall, and return transfers from your accommodation are included.
How much does ziplining cost in Koh Samui?
1,900 THB per person, including return transfers from your accommodation, safety training, insurance, around 60 minutes on the zip line and a visit to the waterfall.
What times does the zip line run?
There are three sessions daily, at 9:30am, 12:30pm and 3:00pm, with pick-up from your accommodation at 8:30am, 11:30am and 2:00pm.
Is ziplining in Koh Samui safe?
Yes. The course is professionally built and maintained, using certified safety equipment such as harnesses, helmets and secure braking systems. All participants receive a full safety briefing before starting, and guides monitor each zip line throughout the experience.
Do I need any experience to go ziplining?
No previous experience is required. Ziplining is suitable for beginners, and guides provide full instructions and demonstrations before you begin.
How long does the jungle zip line experience last?
The full experience typically lasts around 2 to 3 hours, including hotel transfers, the safety briefing, around 60 minutes on the zip line course and time at the waterfall or coffee shop afterwards.
What should I wear for ziplining?
Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes such as trainers. Flip-flops, sandals and skirts are not suitable for safety reasons.
Is ziplining suitable for children?
Yes, children aged 5 and over can take part. Please let us know children's ages when you book.
Is there a weight limit for ziplining?
Yes. The maximum weight is 120 kg per person. This is set for safety reasons and is strictly enforced.
What happens if it rains?
Light rain usually does not stop the activity. In the event of heavy rain or unsafe weather conditions, the experience may be delayed, rescheduled or cancelled for safety reasons.
Are hotel transfers included?
Yes. Return hotel transfers from most areas of Koh Samui are included.
Is ziplining physically demanding?
No extreme fitness is required. You should be comfortable walking short distances, climbing steps and standing on platforms, but the activity is suitable for most people in reasonable health.
Can I bring my phone or camera?
Personal items are not allowed on the zip line itself for safety reasons. Lockers are provided on site to store your valuables.
Is ziplining scary?
It's exciting, not terrifying. The height and speed give you an adrenaline rush, but the experience is controlled, guided and designed to feel secure throughout.
