How much does quad biking cost in Koh Samui?
The 2-hour tour costs 2,800 THB for a single ATV or 3,800 THB for a two-person ATV. The 4-hour tour costs 4,500 THB for a single ATV, 6,800 THB for a two-person ATV, or 8,200 to 9,200 THB for a buggy. A private tour is a 4,500 THB supplement, and children under 11 ride as passengers for 300 THB extra.
What's the difference between the 2-hour and 4-hour tours?
The 2-hour tour follows forest trails and mountain tracks to a jungle waterfall. The 4-hour tour rides further into the interior, climbing to a viewpoint over Lamai Bay and the Standing Big Buddha, with a waterfall swim and a Thai buffet lunch at the hilltop 360 Jungle Route restaurant.
Can children ride a quad bike?
Children aged 11 and over can ride their own ATV. Younger children can join as passengers with an adult for 300 THB extra.
Do I need quad biking experience?
No. Every rider gets a full safety briefing and all the equipment before setting off, and the guide sets the pace to suit the group.
Is hotel pick-up included?
Yes. Round-trip transfers from your hotel or villa to the quad base in Maenam are included on both tours.
Can I drive a buggy instead of a quad bike?
Yes, on the 4-hour tour. Two-seater buggies (Z8 or Z10) are available from 8,200 THB.
Can we book a private quad tour?
Yes. A private tour for your group is available for a 4,500 THB supplement.
What should I wear?
Clothes you don't mind getting muddy and closed-toe shoes. Bring swimwear and a towel for the waterfall, plus sunscreen and a change of clothes.
What happens if it rains?
The tours run in the rain, and the mud often makes it more fun. In severe weather, the tour may be rescheduled for safety reasons.
