What are the best adventure activities in Koh Samui?
The jungle zip line near Tan Rua Waterfall and guided quad bike tours through the interior are the island's most popular adventures, and many visitors pair them with a half day at an ethical elephant sanctuary.
Is there an age or weight limit?
For the zip line, children must be 5 or over and the maximum weight is 120 kg. On quad tours, riders must be 11 or over to drive their own quad, and younger children can ride as passengers.
Do I need any experience?
No. Every activity starts with a safety briefing, and the guides set the pace for the group.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes you don't mind getting muddy and closed-toe shoes. Flip-flops and sandals aren't suitable for the zip line or quad bikes. Bring swimwear for the waterfall stops.
Can I do the zip line and quad biking on the same day?
Yes. Both run in the north of the island and pair well into a full adventure day. Get in touch and we'll arrange the timings.
Do activities run in the rain?
Light rain doesn't usually stop the zip line or quad tours, and the mud often makes quad biking more fun. In severe weather, activities may be rescheduled for safety.
