About Experience

The 4-hour quad bike tour takes you off the coast and into Koh Samui's mountainous interior on an ATV or buggy, with a guide leading the way. You ride jungle trails up to one of the island's highest viewpoints, looking out over Lamai Bay and the Standing Big Buddha, then stop at a jungle waterfall to swim before a Thai buffet lunch at a hilltop restaurant.

The route is longer than the 2-hour version, with more riding time and a proper lunch stop built in. No experience is needed: you get a safety briefing and all the equipment before setting off, and the guide sets the pace to suit the group.

Round-trip hotel transfers are included, with the day running from around 9am pickup to a mid-afternoon drop-off.

    You’ll be picked up from your hotel or villa and transferred to the departure point in Maenam.
  • Arrival & Introduction
    On arrival, meet your guide for a brief introduction and safety overview before hopping onto your ATV or buggy and getting ready to ride.
  • Jungle Ride & Mountain Ascent
    Begin your off-road ride through lush jungle trails, riding deeper into Koh Samui’s interior. The route climbs steadily towards the island’s highest point, offering incredible scenery along the way.
  • Panoramic Viewpoint Stop
    Reach a spectacular viewpoint where you’ll enjoy panoramic views over Lamai Bay and see the iconic Standing Big Buddha from above. Time is allowed for photos and to take in the views.
  • Waterfall Stop
    Continue the ride to a jungle waterfall. Relax, swim and cool off in fresh natural waters before heading on to the next stop.
  • Lunch with a View
    Enjoy a delicious Thai buffet lunch at the 360° Jungle Route restaurant, perched on top of the hill and surrounded by unbeatable views across the island.
  • Return Journey
    After lunch, continue the ride back through scenic jungle routes before returning to the base.
  • Hotel Drop-Off
    Transfer back to your hotel or villa, arriving in the mid-afternoon.

Children able to ride their own ATV at 11 years and over. Under 11 years can ride as passengers for 300 baht extra.

Do I need previous quad biking experience?
No experience is required. All riders receive a safety introduction before the tour begins, and the guide adjusts the pace to suit beginners and more confident riders.

How long does the quad biking tour last?
This is a 4-hour experience, including riding time, stops, lunch and scenic breaks. With hotel transfers, expect the full experience to run from around 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
