About Experience

This full-day group speedboat tour runs from Koh Samui across the Gulf of Thailand to Koh Tao and Koh Nang Yuan, two of the best snorkelling islands in the region. The crossing takes around 90 minutes each way, and the day is built around snorkelling the coral reefs, with sea turtles seen year-round and whale sharks a possibility in peak season from March to June.

At Koh Nang Yuan there is time on the white-sand beaches and the famous sandbar, and a hike up to the viewpoint that looks out over the three linked islands. A Thai lunch on the beach breaks up the day, and the snorkelling stops around Koh Tao are picked for the clearest water and healthiest coral.

Experienced, English-speaking guides handle the safety briefings and equipment, so beginners and confident snorkellers are both well looked after. All you need to do is get in the water.

Yes. There is time to visit Koh Nang Yuan’s famous viewpoint, which offers panoramic views of the sandbar and surrounding islands. Access depends on weather and sea conditions.

What should I bring with me on the tour?
It is recommended to bring swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, and a change of clothes. A waterproof bag is also useful for personal items.

Is hotel transfer included from anywhere on Koh Samui?
Yes, complimentary return transfers are included from most accommodations on Koh Samui. Pick-up times will be confirmed after booking. For villas, free transfers operate from pre-arranged pick-up points, as door-to-door villa pick-ups are generally not possible. Private transfers can be arranged at an additional cost if required.

What happens if the weather is bad?
In the event of unsafe sea conditions, the tour may be rescheduled or cancelled for safety reasons. If this happens, alternative dates or a refund will be offered.
